To update the firmware, locate the firmware updater in the WebUI (top right corner). Click the Hamburger Menu, select 'Update Firmware', choose the downloaded `.tar.xz.enc` firmware file, and click 'Update Amps'. Wait for the shark fin to turn blue and the LCD screen to illuminate, indicating completion.
If you are experiencing issues, you can perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the front-panel encoder. Alternatively, use SharkWare to back up your DSP settings before initiating resets.
Ensure the Ethernet cable is securely plugged in to the network router or switch. If the amplifier still fails to appear in SharkWare or the Web UI, you may need to assign a static IP address if your local DHCP is unstable.
To confirm a successful update, open the WebUI or SharkWare, click the Hamburger Menu, navigate to 'Amp Settings', and scroll down to 'Device Information'. Verify that the displayed firmware, power supply, and amp versions match the update file you applied.
