It is advisable to clean the steam wand at the end of each working day. Leave the wand in hot water for 5 minutes, then clean it with a cloth. Do not leave the wand submerged in liquid indefinitely. Always purge a small amount of steam before and after heating drinks to prevent clogging.
Carimali recommends cleaning the third duct of the group and gaskets daily. Insert the blind filter and a cleaning tablet into the filter holder, fit it into the group, and run the automatic cleaning cycle (typically by holding specific keys like 1 and 4 during startup, depending on the model). Rinse filter holders under running water.
Turn on the water mains tap and switch the machine power on. The boiler will automatically refill (LEDs may flash). Once filled, heating begins automatically; wait approximately 20 minutes for the boiler to reach operating temperature. During heating, keep the steam lever open for a few seconds to release air from the boiler.
