3.1 Connecting the Device to Your Vehicle

The ANCEL FX6100 connects to your vehicle via the OBDII port, also known as the Data Link Connector (DLC).

If not under the dashboard, a label may indicate its location. In some Asian and European vehicles, the DLC might be behind the ashtray, requiring its removal. 2. Turn the Vehicle Ignition On: Ensure the vehicle's ignition is turned to the ON position. It is not necessary to start the engine.
3. Connect the Diagnostic Cable: Plug the diagnostic cable into the vehicle's DLC port and the other end into the ANCEL FX6100 device.
