The JUBEST Steel Security Door is designed to enhance the security of your entryway while allowing for natural light and airflow. It features a robust steel frame, expanded metal screen, and a powder-coated finish for durability.

2. Turvallisuustiedot

4. Asennusvaatimukset

4.2 Door Opening Preparation
This door is designed for standard 32" x 80" exterior door openings. The surface-mount frame requires a minimum of 1" flat surface around the existing door trim for proper attachment.
- Measure your existing door opening carefully to ensure compatibility.
- The overall size with the frame is approximately 35 7/64" x 81 11/16".

5. Asennusohjeet
The JUBEST Steel Security Door features a universal reversible design, allowing it to be installed as a left or right outswing door. Installation typically takes approximately 30 minutes with basic tools.
5.1 Determining Door Swing
Stand outside your doorway, facing the door. If the hinges are on the left and the door swings outwards to the left, it's a left outswing. If hinges are on the right and the door swings outwards to the right, it's a right outswing. The door can be configured for either.
5.2 Rungon kiinnittäminen
- Position the door frame against the exterior trim of your existing door opening. Ensure the frame is flush and level.
- Using a pencil, mark the locations for drilling pilot holes through the pre-drilled holes in the door frame into your wall studs or framing.
- Drill pilot holes using an appropriate drill bit.
- Secure the door frame to the wall using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure the frame is plumb and square. Do not overtighten.
5.3 Attaching the Door Panel
- Carefully lift the door panel and align its hinges with the hinge pins on the installed frame.
- Slide the door panel onto the hinge pins.
- Test the door swing to ensure smooth operation and proper alignment. Adjust frame mounting if necessary.
5.4 Installing Lockset (Not Included)
The door comes with a standard 2-3/8" backset lockbox prepared for your custom lockset. Follow the instructions provided with your chosen handle and lockset for installation into the pre-drilled holes.
6. Käyttö
Once installed, the JUBEST Steel Security Door operates like a standard outswing door. Ensure the lockset (purchased separately) is properly installed and functioning before relying on the door for security.
- To open: Turn the handle and pull the door outwards.
- To close: Push the door inwards until it latches securely.
- To lock: Engage the deadbolt or locking mechanism of your installed lockset.

7. Huolto
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and performance of your JUBEST Steel Security Door.
- Puhdistus: Clean the door frame and screen regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the powder-coated finish.
- Voitelu: Periodically lubricate hinges and lockset mechanisms with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
- Tarkastus: Annually inspect the door frame, screen, and mounting hardware for any signs of wear, damage, or loosening. Tighten any loose screws and address any rust spots promptly.
- Ruosteenkestävyys: The smooth black powder-coated finish provides excellent weather resistance, preventing rust, chipping, and fading. However, prompt repair of any scratches or chips in the finish will help maintain its protective qualities.
