3.2 Wiring and Compatibility

This backup camera is designed to connect to a built-in screen or monitor with an RCA connector. It is ei compatible with dash cams, GPS units, DVRs, or Apple CarPlay/Android Auto head units that do not have a dedicated RCA video input. Ensure your display unit has the appropriate RCA input for video signal.

The camera supports 8 video formats (AHD 1080P/720P 25fps, CVBS-NTSC/PAL, with mirror or original image options). To cycle through these formats, press and hold the switch button on the camera's cable for 3 seconds until the screen responds. This eliminates the need for complex wire-cutting operations.
