3. Asennus

3.1. Battery and MicroSD Card Installation

Before first use, ensure the battery is properly installed and a microSD card is inserted.

1. Remove the battery by flicking the battery cover switch inwards with two fingers.
2. Insert the microSD card into the card compartment with the logo facing up.
3. Reinstall the battery. Ensure the orange indicator marks are not visible to maintain waterproof sealing.

1. Push the switch upwards to open the USB cover.
2. Use the official Type-C to Type-C cable to connect the camera to a power source.
3. When charging, if the X4 is off, the indicator light will stay red. It will turn off when charging is complete.

3.3. Installing Lens Guards

The standard lens guards protect the camera lenses.

For recording 8K video in still conditions, using the Thermo Grip Cover is recommended to reduce camera temperature and provide a comfortable shooting experience. When using in windy or active conditions, the cover is not needed.

3.5. Activating Your Camera

To activate your camera, you need to download the Insta360 app.

1. Ensure your phone is connected to the internet and both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
2. Open the Insta360 app and connect to the camera. The app will automatically detect nearby Insta360 cameras.
3. For the first connection, confirm the connection by tapping on the camera screen.
4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete activation.
