1. Johdanto

The Skyking WORK-ZONE IR-950 is a high-performance industrial infrared thermometer designed for non-contact temperature measurement. It is ideal for use in various industrial applications such as furnaces, kilns, forging, casting, and HVAC systems, where high temperatures need to be measured safely and accurately. 4. Asennus

4.1 Akun asennus

3. Insert two 1.5V AA batteries (or No.7 batteries) according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.

After installing the batteries, press the trigger to power on the device. The LCD display will illuminate, showing the current temperature and other indicators.

5. Käyttöohjeet

5.1 Mittauksen tekeminen

1. Point the thermometer at the target surface. Ensure the target is larger than the spot size indicated by the D:S ratio (see Section 5.2).
2. Press and hold the trigger. The laser pointer(s) will activate, indicating the measurement area.

4. Release the trigger to hold the reading on the display. The device will automatically shut down after approximately 7 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery.

The IR-950 has a Distance to Spot Ratio (D:S) of 12:1. This means that at a distance of 12 units from the target, the measurement spot diameter will be 1 unit. For accurate readings, ensure the target area is completely within the measurement spot. Measuring closer to the target will result in a smaller spot size and more precise measurement of a specific area.

5.3 Säädettävä emissiivisyys

Emissivity (ε) is a measure of an object's ability to emit infrared energy. Different materials have different emissivity values. The IR-950 allows you to adjust the emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00 (preset to 0.95) to ensure accurate readings for various surfaces. Consult an emissivity table for common materials or adjust empirically for best results.

• Paina MODE button to cycle through settings until 'Emissivity' is displayed.

5.4 MAX/MIN Display

• The corresponding value will be shown on the display.
