4.1 Asennus

Select a mounting location where the sensor is protected from physical damage and excessive heat.

4.2 Johdotus

The sensor features a 3-pin M8 male connector. Follow the standard wiring color code for PNP sensors:

Pin 1 (Brown): +VDC (10-30VDC)
Pin 3 (Blue): 0VDC (Ground)
Pin 4 (Black): Output (PNP, Normally Open)

Connect the sensor to the control system according to the wiring diagram provided by the system manufacturer. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

5. Käyttö

Once properly installed and wired, apply power to the sensor. The integrated LED indicator will provide status feedback:

LED PÄÄLLÄ: Indicates that a metallic object is within the sensing range and the output is active (PNP output is high).
LED POIS: Indicates no metallic object is detected within the sensing range and the output is inactive (PNP output is low).

The sensor operates by generating an electromagnetic field. When a metallic object enters this field, it causes a change in oscillation, triggering the output. The 3mm sensing range ensures reliable detection for small to medium-sized metallic targets.

6. Huolto
