Your ThermoPro TP30 requires two AAA batteries for operation. Follow these steps to install them:

Once batteries are installed, simply pull the trigger to power on the device. The backlit LCD screen will illuminate, and the thermometer will be ready for use.

To measure the surface temperature of an object:

Point the infrared lens towards the target surface.
Pull and hold the trigger. The laser pointer will activate, indicating the measurement area.
The temperature reading will instantly appear on the LCD screen.

Understanding the Display Modes

The TP30 offers various display modes to provide comprehensive temperature data:

Temperature Units (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the "°C/°F" button located on the device.

Emissivity is the ability of a material to emit energy by radiation. Different materials have different emissivities. For the most accurate readings, adjust the emissivity setting (EMISS.) on your TP30 to match the surface you are measuring. The emissivity can be adjusted from 0.1 to 1.0.
