4. Asennus

4.1 Akun asennus

1. Paikanna laitteen takaosassa oleva paristolokeron kansi.
2. Avaa kansi liu'uttamalla tai ruuvaamalla sitä auki.
3. Aseta kaksi 1.5 V:n AAA-paristoa paikoilleen varmistaen oikean napaisuuden (+/-).
4. Aseta paristolokeron kansi kunnolla takaisin paikalleen.

4.2 Virran kytkeminen päälle/pois

Paina ja pidä painettuna ON/OFF button (usually the central red button) for approximately 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.

4.3 Initial Unit Selection

After powering on, you may select your preferred units for measurement. Refer to Section 5.2 for detailed instructions on unit selection.

4.4 Kolmijalan kiinnitys (valinnainen)

For stable, hands-free measurements, the BT-866A Pro can be mounted on a standard tripod. Locate the metal screw hole at the bottom of the device and attach it to a compatible tripod. Ensure the device is securely fastened before use.

5. Käyttöohjeet

5.1 Perusmittaus

Once powered on, the device will display real-time readings. Position the anemometer so that the wind flows directly through the 8-leaf wind wheel for accurate measurements. The display will show wind speed, temperature, and other selected parameters.

5.2 Yksikön valinta

Paina UNIT button to cycle through available units for wind speed (m/s, km/h, ft/min, knots, mph, fpm) and temperature (°C, °F). For airflow (CFM), the unit is typically displayed directly.

Paina HOLD/MODE button briefly to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold and resume real-time measurements.

5.4 Maks./Min.-mittaus

Paina MAX/MIN -painiketta view the maximum or minimum recorded values during the current measurement session. Press repeatedly to cycle between MAX, MIN, and current readings.

5.5 Humidity Mode (Dew Point & Wet Bulb)

Paina pitkään HOLD/MODE button to switch to Humidity Mode, which displays Dew Point and Wet Bulb temperatures. Long press again to exit this mode.

5.6 FUNC-painike

Paina pitkään TYÖNTEKIJÄ button for 3 seconds to enable or disable the "Auto Power Off" feature. A short press of the TYÖNTEKIJÄ button allows you to switch between different measurement modes (Wind Speed, Wind Flow, and input dimensions for CFM calculation).

5.7 CFM Measurement

The anemometer displays CFM values directly. For accurate CFM readings, ensure the device is positioned correctly within the airflow. If manual input for duct dimensions is required, use the TYÖNTEKIJÄ button to access dimension settings.

6. Data Logging (USB PC Sync)

The BT-866A Pro supports data logging to a PC for detailed analysis and monitoring. This feature is particularly useful for long-term observation or when detailed reports are required.

1. Install the provided PC software from the included CD onto your computer.
2. Connect the anemometer to your PC using the supplied USB cable.
3. Launch the PC software. The software will allow you to monitor and record wind speed, wind flow, CFM, humidity, and temperature data in real-time.
4. The software can generate graphs and reports for comprehensive data analysis.

7. Measurement Tips for Temperature and Relative Humidity

For accurate temperature and relative humidity (%RH) readings, consider the following:

• The temperature sensors are located within the left and right holes of the device.
• To ensure accurate readings, especially for temperature, shade the sensors from direct sunlight.
• Ensure there is adequate airflow across the sensors. Without sufficient airflow, temperature and %RH readings may change slowly or inaccurately reflect the ambient conditions. Allow time for the sensors to stabilize in the measurement environment.
