1. Johdanto
The VTSYIQI VTS-160A Water Activity Meter is designed to measure the water activity of various food products. Water activity is a critical factor influencing food stability, microbial growth, and chemical, enzymatic, and physical changes that affect food quality and shelf life. This portable device provides accurate measurements to assist in food preservation and quality control.

4. Asennus
4.1 Akun asennus
- Paikanna paristolokero mittarin takaa.
- Liu'uta akun kansi auki.
- Insert two 1.5V AAA (UM-4) batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Sulje paristokotelon kansi kunnolla.

5. Käyttöohje
5.1 Measuring Water Activity
- Paina Tehoa key to switch on the meter. The gauge will enter auto mode, automatically initiating the water activity test.
- Aseta sample puhtaaseen sample plate. Ensure the sample is representative and fills the plate adequately without overflowing.
- Carefully cover the sensor of the meter onto the sample plate, ensuring a good seal.
- Allow approximately 5 minutes for the reading to stabilize. Once stable, the water activity value will be displayed on the LCD.
- After testing, press and hold the Tehoa key for approximately 3 seconds to turn off the meter.
- Puhdista sample plate thoroughly after each use to prevent cross-contamination and ensure accurate future readings.

6. Reading Correction (Calibration)
If it becomes necessary to correct the reading value, follow these steps:
- Paina ja pidä painettuna Tehoa -näppäintä noin 7 sekuntia.
- Release the key when the signal 'Cor' appears on the display. A decimal number with two places, representing the current correction value, will be shown.
- Open the battery cover on the back of the meter. Below the battery slot, you will find two small holes.
- Using a small, hard, non-conductive tool (e.g., a small screwdriver or toothpick), gently touch the key inside the left hole to increase the correction value.
- Gently touch the key inside the right hole to decrease the correction value. Adjust the value as needed.
- Paina Tehoa key again to confirm the new correction value. The measured reading will update, and the calibration is complete.

7. Huolto
7.1 Puhdistus
- Puhdista aina sample plate immediately after each use to prevent residue buildup, which can affect measurement accuracy.
- Käytä pehmeää, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the meter. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure no liquids enter the sensor area or battery compartment.
7.2 Varastointi
- When not in use, store the meter in its carrying case to protect it from dust and physical damage.
- Säilytä viileässä, kuivassa paikassa, suojassa suoralta auringonvalolta ja äärimmäisiltä lämpötiloilta.
- Poista paristot vuotojen estämiseksi, jos laitetta ei käytetä pitkään aikaan.
8. Vianmääritys
If you encounter issues with your VTS-160A Water Activity Meter, consider the following:
- Ei virtaa: Tarkista, että paristot on asennettu oikein ja että niissä on riittävästi virtaa. Vaihda paristot tarvittaessa.
- Epätarkkoja lukemia: Varmista, että sample plate is clean and the sensor is properly seated on the sample. Perform a reading correction as described in Section 6. Verify that the operating conditions (temperature, humidity) are within the specified range.
