If your instrument or audio source has a very high output level, the input signal to the DI800 V2 might be too strong, leading to distortion. In such cases, engage the -20dB PAD switch for the corresponding channel. This will reduce the input signal level by 20 decibels, preventing clipping and ensuring a clean signal to the mixing console.

5.3 Ground Lift Function

Ground loops can cause an audible hum or buzz in your audio system. The MAATALOITUS switch disconnects the ground connection between the input and output stages of the DI800 V2. If you experience hum, try engaging the GROUND LIFT switch for the affected channel. This often resolves ground loop issues without affecting the audio signal.

5.4 Monitoring Signal Presence
