KuWFi CPE80R 900Mbps Outdoor Wireless Bridge / CPE Instruction Manual

1. Johdanto

The KuWFi CPE80R is a 900Mbps 11AC 5GHz outdoor access point with an Ethernet port, designed for long-range wireless transmission. It supports Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) connections, offering a Wi-Fi coverage range of 2-3 KM. This device is waterproof, lightning-proof, and built to operate in extreme weather conditions, making it suitable for various outdoor networking needs.

3. Tuote ohiview

The CPE80R features a clear LED display that shows the operating mode (H/C for Master/Slave), channel, and signal strength. It includes a Master/Slave switch (H/C), a Reset button, a LAN port, and a PoE/WAN port. The PoE adapter provides power and data connectivity.

4. Asennus

4.1 Basic Point-to-Point Configuration

For quick pairing, set one unit to Master (H) and the other to Client (C) using the H/C switch. Press the Reset button on both units for 1 second to initiate automatic pairing. This avoids complex GUI configuration.

4.3 Power over Ethernet (PoE) -yhteys

The CPE80R units are powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) using the included 24V 0.5A PoE adapters. Connect the PoE adapter's PoE port to the CPE's PoE/WAN port, and the LAN port of the adapter to your router or network switch. Note that these devices use 24V PoE and are not compatible with standard 48V PoE switches.

5. Toimintatilat

The CPE80R supports multiple operating modes to suit various network environments:

• AP (tukiasema) -tila: Functions as a wireless access point, broadcasting a Wi-Fi signal.
• Bridge Mode (PTP/PTMP): Establishes a wireless link between two or more locations. Ideal for extending network connectivity over long distances, such as connecting IP surveillance cameras or extending home networks to outbuildings.
• Toistintila: Extends the range of an existing Wi-Fi network.

6. Asennusohjeet

For optimal performance, install the CPE80R units outdoors with a clear line of sight between them. The devices are designed to be waterproof and lightning-proof. Use the LED signal strength indicator on the device to assist with alignment for the best possible connection. The effective transmission distance is 2-3 kilometers.

7. Huolto

Regularly check the physical condition of the units and cables for any damage. Ensure the devices are free from obstructions. Periodically check for and apply firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security. The latest firmware can be found at the provided download link in the Setup section.

8. Vianmääritys
