1. Turvallisuusohjeet

The FERM HTM1002 is a cordless hedge trimmer designed for efficient and comfortable hedge maintenance. It features a powerful 20V Li-Ion battery and a 580mm blade length.

3. Asennus

3.1 Akun lataaminen

1. Connect the quick charger to a suitable power outlet.
2. Slide the 20V 2.0Ah Li-Ion battery into the charger. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
3. Allow approximately 60 minutes for a full charge. The charger's indicator light will signal when charging is complete.
4. Once charged, disconnect the charger from the power outlet and remove the battery.

3.2 Akun kiinnitys ja irrottaminen

• Liite: Align the battery with the battery slot on the hedge trimmer. Slide the battery firmly until it locks into position with an audible click.
• Poistaminen: Press the battery release button (if present) and slide the battery out of the slot.

3.3 Teräsuojuksen irrottaminen

Before operation, carefully slide the protective blade cover off the cutter blade. Store the cover in a safe place for later use.

4. Käyttöohjeet

Ensure you have read and understood all safety instructions before operating the hedge trimmer.

4.1 Trimmerin käynnistäminen ja pysäyttäminen

1. To start the trimmer, ensure both hands are on the handles. Press and hold the safety switch on the front handle, then simultaneously press the trigger switch on the rear handle.
2. To stop the trimmer, release either the safety switch or the trigger switch.

4.2 Leikkaustekniikka

• Pidä pensasleikkuria lujasti molemmin käsin.
• Säilytä vakaa asento ja tasapaino.
• Start trimming from the bottom of the hedge and work your way upwards. This allows cut material to fall away from the uncut hedge.
• Use a sweeping motion, moving the trimmer smoothly along the hedge.
• Avoid cutting branches thicker than the recommended capacity (refer to specifications).

5. Huolto

Säännöllinen huolto varmistaa optimaalisen suorituskyvyn ja pidentää pensasleikkurin käyttöikää.

5.1 Puhdistus

• After each use, ensure the trimmer is switched off and the battery is removed.
• Use a stiff brush to remove debris from the cutter blade.
• Pyyhi kotelo mainoksellaamp kangas. Älä käytä voimakkaita kemikaaleja tai hankaavia puhdistusaineita.

5.2 Terän hoito

• Periodically lubricate the cutter blade with a light machine oil to reduce friction and prevent rust.
• If the cutting performance decreases, the blades may need sharpening. This should be done by a qualified service technician.

5.3 Varastointi

• Always replace the protective blade cover before storing the hedge trimmer.
• Säilytä työkalua kuivassa, turvallisessa paikassa, lasten ulottumattomissa.
• Remove the battery from the tool if storing for extended periods.
