1. Johdanto

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your Nikon D3100 Digital SLR Camera Body. 2. Asennus

2.1. Akun asennus

The Nikon D3100 uses a lithium-ion battery. To install the battery, locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera. Slide the latch to open the cover, insert the battery with the correct orientation (refer to the diagram inside the compartment), and then close the cover securely until it clicks into place.

2.2. Muistikortin asettaminen

The camera supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. The memory card slot is located on the side of the camera body. Open the memory card cover, insert the memory card with the label facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place, and then close the cover securely.

The mode dial on the top of the camera allows you to select various shooting modes, including Automatic, Custom, Landscape, Macro, Movie, Portrait, Shutter Priority, and Sports. For beginners, the 'GUIDE' mode offers on-screen assistance for taking different types of photos without needing extensive technical knowledge. The 'AUTO' mode provides simple point-and-shoot operation.

Once a shooting mode is selected, compose your shot using the viewfinder or the 3.0-inch LCD screen (Live View). Press the shutter-release button halfway down to focus, then press it all the way down to capture the image.
